Privacy, without the fine-print maze

rmmetadata processes selected files in browser memory. The cleaner does not send file contents, filenames, metadata, or cleaned results to a processing server.
When you use the cleaner
Files are held in your browser session so that you can download the cleaned copies. Clear all removes them from the interface and releases download links. Closing the tab ends the session. Clearing a session is not a secure memory wipe and does not delete files saved on your device.
Ordinary website requests
The hosting service receives requests for pages and assets. These requests can include your IP address, browser information and request time. Hosted review access may use authentication cookies supplied by the hosting platform. rmmetadata does not require a separate tool account.
Fonts and dependencies
The website requests typography from Google Fonts. Google receives the normal connection information associated with those requests. PDF processing code is bundled with the website; your PDF is not sent to a library provider.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This release does not load analytics or advertising scripts and does not set application cookies. If advertising is enabled in a future public release, this policy will identify the providers and their data practices before scripts are activated.
For Google advertising, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on earlier visits to this or other websites. Advertising cookies allow Google and partners to personalize ads. Users can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. Any applicable consent platform and opt-out controls must be configured before advertising starts.
What metadata removal does not do
It does not redact visible content or guarantee anonymous files. Annotations, attachments, image pixels, video streams, color profiles and proprietary structures can contain identifying information outside the supported cleaning scope. See the limits guide.
Contact and launch status
This review release has no public operator contact address. Before public commercial launch, the operator must publish their identity, a working privacy contact and any additional required notices. Please report review issues to the person who shared this site.
